Work doesn't automatically change when capacity does.
When an employee reduces hours, returns from leave, or has less capacity for a while, the work itself often stays the same. No one redistributes it structurally. The employee carries the burden of solving it themselves — usually without the authority to actually change anything.
What Carrea at Work is building.
Carrea at Work is developing software that structures this process: a clear moment where a capacity change is recognised, someone accountable for following it through, and a concrete decision about what changes in the work itself.
Status: early development.
We're building the first version of this system with Belgian employers who want to help shape it. Tell us how capacity changes are handled today and what a practical solution could look like. Your company will also be among the first to test the software.
